The church secretary role includes:
- Administrative oversight
- Working with staff in developing handbooks, policies, etc.
- Overseeing staff annual leave and calendar
- Email correspondence with partners and funders
- Supporting the staff to enhance the weekly running of activities
- Attending trustee meetings as required
Designated Person for Safeguarding
The Safeguarding role includes:
- Ensuring the policy is up to date and annually reviewed
- Overseeing DBS checks
- Providing administrative support for safeguarding issues
- Attending trustee meetings as required
Premises Manager
The Premises Manager role includes:
- Liaising with Clarence Road Baptist Church regarding premises
- Visitor co-ordination, organizing visitors or teams visiting 57 West
- Overseeing maintenance of the building
- Attending trustee meetings as required
